Gamma Pi Chi Sisterhood has many benefits of being a sister. Our members are close friends and we have a great time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, and we hope to further our cause. When you join our sorority you form life long bonds with the women you come to know as your sisters. Who Can Join....
Membership is open to any woman who lives in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, North and South Carolina. Applicants will need to have earned an associates degree or higher at an accredited college, technical or training institution or be professional women with a professional certification/minimal training in her chosen career field, for a minimum of two years. You may also apply as a college student matriculating in your sophomore year of study or later. We openly invite all positive and driven women interested in the issues and topics we focus our efforts on. Members must be able to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the sisterhood. All applicants must be 21 years or older and a registered voter. We do not discriminate because of race, creed or ethnic background. Our members are from all races and ethnicity backgrounds. How to Become A Member....
Potential members must go through a standard, mandatory pledging period which upon completion of all phases you will earn the honor of being formally inducted into the sisterhood and earn the title of BELLE of a PEACH. Each phase carries different expectations, responsibilities and at the completion of each they will show us your strengths and weaknesses. The phases are set up to be a fun learning experience and motivate you to develop several skills or perfect talents.
Hazing....
Gamma Pi Chi Sorority has a strict, no tolerance, no hazing policy which prohibits any form of hazing during the Blossoming Intake Phase Program. We do not condone or practice hazing, as it is in direct violation of the constitution and bylaws which governs this organization. Any individual sister or chapter charged with hazing will be subject to disciplinary actions set forth by Gamma Pi ChiSocial Service Sorority.
